PHILOSOPHY
Health is a continuum in which we all exist. For some, health is being free of migraines, for others is a release from anxiety or depression, pain relief, lessening asthma attacks, or freedom from addictions. For some, it is feeling stronger at the gym, or having improved digestion. Some believe health, for them, is reduced symptoms from chronic or acute diseases. For others, it is sleeping though the night, and waking refreshed and ready to face the day with peace. For others, it is feeling more at ease within their life, with the ability to move though all of life's transitions with a peaceful state of mind.
We believe in the body's innate wisdom to know how to return to a state of health and wellbeing. Every one has a seed of health that lives within them from the moment they are born. Chinese medicine, the combination of Acupuncture, herbal medicine, and massage therapy modalities such as cupping therapy and gua sha, are all ways to water this seed that lives within you, so you can return to your own innate natural state of health and wellbeing. We love to work in concert with Western practitioners, as well as, other complementary medicine practitioners in our community. It is truly an honor to share in this journey with our patients and the people that care for them.

Let me first say welcome to this website, and secondly thank you for exploring your health today. It is a wonderful place to start the journey. While we are here together, I want to take a moment to tell you a little about myself.
My journey into acupuncture began over 20 years ago when I received my first treatment. There was a seed planted in me that day to become a practitioner of this medicine. Over the years, acupuncture has helped to heal my own chronic health conditions and improve the quality of my life overall. Acupuncture, in short, changed my life; I hope one day it will do the same for you.
I have been involved in health care and medicine for over 18 years. My journey began as a Massage Therapist. I then transitioned into nursing where I have been caring for women during the birth process for 12 years. In 2016, I received a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from the Academy of Five Element Acupuncture in Gainsville, Florida. I am a licensed Acupuncturist in Florida as well as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I have continued to practice massage therapy throughout my career as a nurse and now as an Acupuncturist and Holistic Medicine Practioner.
I am a St. Augustine native. To this day, I love living in this vibrant and beautiful city. When I am not practicing acupuncture, I am usually found in the kitchen, garden, the ocean, or playing my guitar.
